Who runs this site

CuiDeck publishes free scoping tools, guides and vendor comparisons for small defense contractors. The site is run by the CuiDeck editorial team. There is no account, no login and no newsletter.

What the tools do with what you type

The tools and checklists on this site run in your browser. What you tick or type is not sent to a server and is not stored by us. Closing or reloading the tab clears it.

Please do not type real controlled information, export-controlled data or anything marked into any tool here. The tools never need it, and made-up examples work just as well.

Analytics

We count visits with two tools. Vercel Analytics counts page views. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DBS0PGXYSF) records the pages you view, the page that sent you here, session statistics, your approximate location and your browser and device type. It sets a first-party cookie (_ga) so a return visit counts as the same visitor.

Neither tool is used for advertising, ad personalisation or building a profile of you across other sites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site works the same without them.

The contact form

Messages sent through the contact form (your name, email address and message) are delivered by email to the editors and used only to reply. The site itself does not store them, and we never add you to a mailing list.

Hosting and other services

The site is hosted on Vercel, and contact-form messages are relayed by an email delivery service. Like any web host, these services may log technical data such as IP addresses to keep the site running and secure. Their own privacy policies apply to that data.

Children

This site is written for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. Questions about it go through the contact form.
